New Laptop
I have recently received a Toshiba Satellite L675 with Windows 7. Where/how do I see the system info so that I can provide that info here in the forums? I would like to know if it will play GW2 at better than medium settings.
Edit:
Thank you Elder III
From what anyone may have heard, does this sound like a sufficient system for GW2? Thank you.
From dxdiag

since GW2 isn't out yet we won't know anymore than you will....
with that said, go to your start menu and type in "dxdiag" and post the results here

Personally I think GW2 will run just fine on that machine. We still don't know for SURE, but I think either High or between medium and high. You're in great shape off the bat with that HD 4200 GPU.

At that resolution? Low to medium. 1600x900 is pretty demanding resolution for a low end laptop GPU.

That, the HD4200 is a very weak laptop GPU. Depending on how CPU intensive GW2 will be, your CPU might struggle a bit too, though i'm pretty sure the 4200 will bottleneck before the CPU.
EDIT: I agree with elder (see his post below) about the resolution, it will go a long way to help you improve performance.

yep, the video card will be the weak link, I'd say your good for GW1, but I wouldn't expect to play GW2 at that resolution with any settings..... lower it to about 1024 x 768 and it might be ok with low to medium settings..... but I'm not betting the bank on it.

Running a lower rez 4:3 ratio on a 16:9 screen would look really, really crappy. I wouldn't recommend doing that.
I would say that GW2 will run on that laptop, but only at reduced graphics settings.

Looks like varying opinions. Most likely because requirements haven't been posted anywhere yet.
Thanks for the input guys. I guess time will tell.

Definitely, but the OP might have an 4:3 17 or 19" LCD monitor lying around somewhere. In which case, running it at 1024x768 wouldn't be a problem.

yeah, I just spit out the highest rez that I'd try to use with that hardware.... something like 1024 x 600 would be more apt I think....
